The main reason why it is so different from other games is the way the gifts change the way your game works. Although the gifts are free, you can’t just give them and receive them from your friends you need to widen your net and really meet new people to get them.

Learning how to give and receive gifts effectively is essential in your Cafe World journey. The act of giving gifts in Cafe World is not like any other game out there. Same as getting gifts in the game is not just for novelty purposes.

In order to get gifts you need to get new neighbors as you are limited to the amount of gifts you can get from one person. Giving gifts to your neighbors will encourage then to give you gifts back. Cafe World is a very sociable game, so think the more neighbors you have the more coins you will eventually get. Make sure you give your neighbors quality gifts to encourage them to do the same back and remind them why you became neighbors in the first place.

When giving gifts be aware that some of these are available on the Cafe World store, these will not be beneficial to your neighbors as they will already have access to these. Try and give them something of value that they will use, that way you are more likely to get a similar thing back.

Whenever you sell one of the gifts you have received you will earn extra coins, even though you have done the same amount of work as before. This means the more gifts you get, the more coins you will earn so you can advance in the game.

When you get a gift the best way to ensure you get the best out of it is to serve it when your cafe is full. There is no point selling it to a half empty shop as this will not benefit you. Selling the item that going to get you the most revenue, to a full house so you can make sure you are getting the most coins you possibly can.

So the aim of the game is to give generously so you receive the same back. Choose wisely when you use them to make sure you get maximum impact.

The whole point of Cafe World is to gain experience points (Cafe Points/CP) to increase up the levels. You gain a level every time you hit a certain threshold of CP. Every time you gain a level Cafe World give you a bonus.

Levels and Bonuses are worked out as follows:

Level One (Open For Business)
This is the starting level. You don’t need any points

Level 2 (Sultan Of Stoves)
You need 34 CP and get a 4th Stove to cook with and 500 coins

Level 3 (Ace Of Bakes)
You need 71 CP and get the chance to cook Chips and Guacamole, Caramel Apples, Pumpkin Pie, Vampire Staked Steak, Home-style Pot Roast.

Level 4 (Master of Mincing)
You need 170 CP and you get 2 gifts, 1000 coins and can cook Sweet Seasonal Ham

Level 5 (Tikka Masala Master)
You need 370 CP and can now cook tikka masala kabobs

Level 6 (Miso Maestro)
You need 670 CP and get a 5th stove

Level 7 (Caesar of Salad)
You need 1070 CP and can now cook Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail

Level 8 (Frying Ace)
You need 1670 CP. You can now hire 3 employees

Level 9 (Grill Master)
You need 2440 CP. You get a 4th Counter and can now cook Savory Stuffed Chicken

Level 10 (Lord of Linguini)
You need 3240 CP. You can now cook a gingerbread house and install at 6th stove

That is the first 20 levels of Cafe World. As you can see you get generous bonuses for going up levels so it is well worth trying to do everything you can to progress. When people have as many as 6-7 stoves they tend to use 2 of these as long term stoves. So cooking things that take a number of days. These pay out great and you can still use your other stoves for cooking shorter team dishes and keeping your customers happy.

There are over 60 levels on Cafe World and each level has its own reward.

We all know that to progress in Cafe World quickly we need to keep our customers happy and serve food quickly. The faster we serve food, the faster we can add more food to the counters and before you know it you are in a money making, experience point gaining, always having happy customers circle.

One tip is to make sure that your waiters are serving food as quickly as possible. As soon as you level up enough to be able to hire more of your friends to serve food then you should do this without delay. This will help your waiters be more effective in serving food to keep your customers even happier.

If you are anything like me then your Cafe World looks fabulous, tables and chairs are laid out in a complex design to make sure your café looks its best. This can often mean that your waiters have to walk the long route to serve your waiting customer – not good for your customers experience and not good for your profit margins.

What if there was a way to cut out all of this waiting and get your customers served instantly? Don’t worry I am not going to ask you to rearrange any of your tables and chairs.

You simply need to implement the “trapping waiter” technique.

Simply box your waiter in against the wall surrounded by counters. This will mean your server has to stay in the exact square you have boxed them in. They can still pick up food from the counter as they are in the right position. As soon as they pick up the dish it is immediately sent to your waiting customers table – almost like magic! You don’t have to wait for your waiter to walk across the room and then back again to pick up the next dish for your next customer. It is all instant!

This is a great cheat because it takes no time at all to put in place. Once it is in place it’s done. You don’t have to keep repeating the process again and again. Your waiter is stuck there for ever, serving your dishes to customers within seconds. No more unhappy customers because they have had to wait in a queue to be served because your waiter picks up the dish and within seconds your waiting customer is tucking in to it at their table. Everyone’s happy!

When playing Cafe World moving up a level is the aim of the game. This well help you gain more dishes to prepare and give you a better game to play. There are certain things you can do within the game to ensure you move up those levels quickly.

You can start off getting ahead in the game easily just but knowing what foods to cook. Cooking the correct dishes and foods will give you maximum points. Make sure you only cook foods that are going to give you the most back in return. Think of it as an investment if you were to cook the bacon cheeseburger for example this only takes a preparation time of 5 minutes, serving 13 people at a cost of 15 coins each. You can then go onto sell it for 52 coins and increase your investment. If you want to know what other food will give you the best return then you can use this simple equation (52-15)/15 = 2.46 or 2.46%.

Creating a cooking schedule can also make sure you are cooking at the times when you are going to make the best profits. This will also mean you won’t cook too much food when it’s not needed, if food gets spoiled and thrown away this is going to cost you.

There are two scheduling options open to you depending on how much and often you use the internet. For people who use it regularly and often you should stick to foods that need the smallest amount of attention. If the food are cooked quickly this will mean you can keep cooking these foods, creating a high turnover and lots of profit. For someone who can’t get on often then stick to something that takes longer to cook. You need a schedule to make sure there is always food there, and that your counters aren’t empty. Always have something cooking depending on how long you will be away from your computer.

Using these two simple things will greatly impact your game, and will make sure you getting to those top levels quickly. Cafe world is all about making sure you cook the best food that going to get you the highest and best profit. Making sure that your schedule fits in with your internet usage to keeps food flowing. To do well in Cafe World, it’s important to have neighbors for your cafe. Visiting your neighbors can be a simple way to get coins and experience points. Each visit earns you 20 coins and 5 experience points; you can visit 20 neighbors max in one day, so that’s 400 coins and 20 experience points right there! While you’re visiting, you can also scope out your neighbors for ideas to implement in your own cafe. What are they cooking? How do they have their cafe set up? What kind of decoration is in place? In return, neighbors can also visit your cafe and tip you coins. More neighbors means more visits and more money!

The other benefit of having lots of neighbors is free gifts. That’s right…neighbors can send you one free gift per day. Gifts include dishes like bacon cheeseburgers and ginger plum pork chops. It’s a great way to make money in Cafe World quickly and easily without having to spend your coins to buy the food, or invest your time in preparing the meal. The gift is all ready to serve once you accept it and use it! Keep in mind that the more you give, the more you’re likely to receive in return.

Cafe expansion is another reason you’ll want to make sure you have neighbors in Cafe World. The basic cafe doesn’t allow for lots of stoves, counters, tables and chairs, which you’ll want in order to advance more quickly in the game. To expand your cafe, not only will you need coins but you’ll also need a certain amount of neighbors. Here’s a breakdown of the requirements:

Quaint Cafe 8×9: 1 neighbor
Corner Cafe 9×10: 2 neighbors
Family Cafe 10×12: 4 neighbors
Plentiful Cafe 12×13: 8 neighbors
Bountiful Cafe 13×15: 10 neighbors

The last benefit we’ll mention here is neighbor achievements. When a neighbor gets a Chef’s Special or a new medal, and then posts it to their Facebook news feed, friends can get rewards too, including extra servings of certain dishes that can be used in your cafe, as well as coin bonuses. If you set up a list for “Cafe World Friends” and then scan the news feed, you can watch for these announcements and capitalize on them when you see them!

Now that you’re excited to add lots and lots of neighbors to your cafe, let’s discuss how to go about getting them.

Tip #1: One of the easiest ways to find neighbors is to determine which Facebook friends of yours are already playing and add them first. You can do so by clicking on the “Neighbors” tab above the game and scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Here will be listed all of your current friends who are active in the game, including their game stats such as level and points. Add them all or choose to invite only the most active players; however even if they don’t play the game very often, or at all, you can still visit those neighbors for coins and experience points each day.

Tip #2: There are also groups on Facebook that have been created to facilitate neighboring. Search on something like “Cafe World neighbors” in Facebook, and you should see these groups come up in the results. If you’re comfortable, you can then join the group and post “Add Me” messages, so people can send you neighbor invites. Or you can choose to invite neighbors from the list. If you’re worried about adding strangers to your Facebook, you can also set up your privacy settings to restrict anyone in your Cafe World list from seeing any of your personal information.

Unlike the main currency, coins, you do not earn Cafe Cash from playing the game or by utilizing Cafe World cheats. Although you start with 5 Cafe Cash for free in the game, you must purchase additional Cafe Cash with real money. There are a few exceptions to this. Purchasing Cafe Cash is very straightforward. To get it, just click on the Add Coins and Cash button in the upper left corner of your screen. You’ll go to a special page where you can purchase your cash. The cost of the cash depends on how much you’re willing to spend. The lowest-price option is $4.99, which gets you 25 Cafe Cash, or about $0.20 per Cafe Cash. If you’re willing to spend $49.99, you’ll get 310 Cafe Cash, which is about $0.16 per Cafe Cash. If you know for sure you’ll use the Cash, it’s better to buy it in bulk. You can pay with a credit card, Paypal, or even your mobile phone.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to get free cash for playing the game like you can in FarmVille or some other popular games. There are some exceptions to the fact that you can’t get Cafe World free Cafe Cash. Sometimes, the creators of the game run special events and promotions where you can get Cafe Cash for playing the game. For example, over Christmas, 2009, you could earn one free Cafe Cash for each day you visited Cafe World. However, these special events are rare and limited in duration.

When you start gaining a few levels in Cafe World, you’ll probably start to see that it’s a lot easier to accumulate coins than levels in the game. Pretty soon, most players have piles of coins that they can’t really spend. It would be awesome if there was a way to convert those coins into Cafe Points (CP) so that you could level up faster, wouldn’t it? Well, guess what? There is! It’s a technique called power leveling and it’s pretty simple, although time-intensive, to do.

What you do is repeatedly prepare and then delete a dish on one of your stoves. Because each dish gives a certain amount of Cafe Points during preparation ( 3 “rounds” of a small amount), you’ll get CP without waiting for the dish to fully cook. All you do is prepare the dish, and then immediately delete it and start over. If you do it enough times, you’ll eventually get enough CP to level, having essentially converted your coins into Cafe Point.

Note that you only need to do this on one stove. There’s really no benefit to using multiple stoves to do this trick as it doesn’t save time. In fact, you’ll want to keep those other stoves busy with preparing dishes and earning more coins for you to keep on power leveling.

Certain dishes are much better suited to this technique than most others. What you want to look for is a high ratio of “preparation” Cafe Points to cost of the dish. Another factor, of course, is time. It takes about 20 seconds to prepare and delete a dish, and unless you want to be clicking all day, you want to pick a dish that doesn’t require very many preparations to get you the Cafe Points you need to level.

Power leveling is a great technique but it can be time-intensive and requires a lot of clicking and patience. Honestly, it can also get boring. There are some other techniques and strategies to level up quickly in Cafe World. If you want to level up without getting bored, I recommend checking out the Cafe World Domination guide. You probably already know there’s a lot to keep track of in your cafe. Which recipes to use, how to get the maximum buzz rating, and even which gifts are the best to give and receive. Cafe World Domination spells it all out for you with simple instructions, screenshots and more.

So which dishes are best? Well, there are a few choices at each level. Here’s some of my favorites for each level “group” starting with level 20, which is approximately the point at which you’re earning enough coins to spend them freely.

Levels 21-30: The average number of CP you need to level in this range is about 3,000. Your best recipe to use here is the Homestyle Pot Roast which brings in 60 CP per preparation. At this level range, you’ll need to do about 50 preps per level. On average, it will cost you 90,000 coins to get each level and take about 16 minutes to do it (each preparation cycle is about 20 seconds long). If you want a cheaper alternative, try using Voodoo Chicken Salad. It will only cost about 58,000 coins but takes about 28 minutes to level.

Levels 31-40: Here it takes an average of 5,500 CP for each level. The best recipe to use here is King Crab Bisque which will cost about 132,000 coins per level and takes 34 minutes on average to complete. Voodoo Chicken Salad remains the best cheap option. It will only cost about 107,000 coins per level, but you’ll need 51 minutes for each level.

Levels 41-50: The average CP to level in this range is 9,300. King Crab Bisque remains the most balanced option for power-leveling here, but it starts to lose some of its effectiveness. It will cost you an average of 260,000 coins per level and take about an hour. For a lot of players at this level, money is less of an issue. A more expensive option here is to go with Chicken Pot Pie. It will cut the time down to about 47 minutes but the cost is just under 500,000 coins. Spent too many coins on those cafe decorations? Good old Voodoo Chicken Salad remains a great option with less cost. You’ll need a solid 86 minutes on average, but it will only cost you about 180,000 coins per level.

Delicious...and a power leveler's best friend.

Level 51-60: Here’s where your options start to open up a bit. The best power leveling recipe in the game is Delicious Chocolate Cake which becomes available at level 52. In this range, you need about 13,000 CP per level, and the cake will get you there in one hour with a cost of 235,000 coins per level. From level 50-52, go with Grand Tandoori Chicken, which costs quite a bit more but is nearly as fast. If you’re still watching coins carefully, King Crab Bisque works well until you hit level 52.

Level 61+

From here, it’s all about the Delicious Chocolate Cake. At the higher levels, it takes a whopping 30,000 Cafe Points to move to each new one. So, things do slow down a bit and cost more. Each new level will take roughly two hours and twenty minutes to power through and it will cost about 540,000 coins to get there. However, at this point in the game, you’re probably sitting on a huge pile of coins!

It can be hard to find good information about all the Cafe World recipes online. Here is a table that shows all the really important data about the different dishes you can serve in the game. You can use this information to decide what to cook for the maximum amount of coins and cafe points. It’s very helpful to plan out your strategies.

After a very long wait with just the words, “Coming Soon” showing up when you clicked on the medal icon in the game, Cafe World medals have finally arrived in the game. It looks like to start there are five different groups of medals that you can earn, in the following categories:

• Number of Neighbors you have
• Number of meals you’ve served
• Coins Earned
• Gifts Received
• Consecutive Days Cooking

Some of the new medals count prior activity (Neighbors and meals) and some seem to have started their counters from zero when the medals were released (coins, gifts, days cooking).
